1st Mr & Mrs Beaufoy's " CH. & IR CH. "WYREFARE PRINCE NASSEM". Still in superb condition, what can I write that has not already been written? He is a fine example of our breed, always immaculately turned out  and handled to perfection. He still has all the attributes of his day a worthy Ch. and a prolific stud dog.
2nd Mrs L Brown & Mr K Harpers "VEKLORRA ON A HY" JW. Black/brindle. Good head, longer in foreface than 1, again still a fit dog. Straight front, level top line, good bend of stifle, clean outline, moved well.
3rd Mr A Knights "GADKEY BLACK KNIGHT"

 

CLASS 2 - MINOR PUPPY DOG   (6 entered, 0 absent)
1st Mrs Wiggins & Mr Watkin's "KEWAUNEE PETANOCONA". Bl/br. Good head, longer in foreface than some, correct bite, neat ears dark eye, short coupled, powerful body for a pup, level top line, good bend of stifle. A well balanced pup, one for the future.
2nd Mr & Mrs Jackson's "RABRAKA ROMEO". Bl/br. Mature for MPD. Lovely head, correct bite, dark round eye, neat ears. Clean front, level top line, good bend of stifle, moved with drive. Coat a tad long for me but a good overall appearance

Ms N Booth & Mr P Grimwood's"FOXSTAFF OFF THE RICHTER WITH RAMBLESTAFF". Bl/br. A very well balanced pup, super head, short foreface, deep stop, dark eye, neat ears, correct bite, short coupled body, tight feet, level topline, good stifle, moved with drive.

2nd Mr & Mrs Patersons "BERAKA NOBLE PRINCE". Red/white. Short powerful pup with plenty of bone, cracking head. Carrying a little weight. Good shoulder angulations, short powerful body, top line slightly sloping away, a bit of a handful for his owner, another to watch for the future.
3rd Miss Edmondson's "FORDSON MAJOR"

CLASS 4 - JUNIOR DOG   (23 entered, 4 absent)

The hardest class of the day. The quality of the dogs was phenomenal

1st Mr J Mace & Mr M Davies "STORMBULL SOLO" JW. CC BIS. Standard black brindle. Powerful head, clean lipped, deep stop, dark eyes, beautiful expression. Well laid back shoulders, neat well padded feet, correct pigmentation, short coupled body, well sprung ribs, good tuck-up, tremendous hindquarters. In excellent condition, moved with determination and drive. What a pleasure to go over this dog. 
2nd Mrs Hedges & Mrs Robinson's "LEGER KINGS GAMBIT BY RAMBLIX" JW. Black brindle not quite as mature as 1, but another fine example of breed type. Good clean head with deep stop, correct bite, dark eye with keen expression, neat ears, straight front, tight feet, short coupled body, not quite the depth of brisket as 1, good bend of stifle, moved with drive. Got to be a star for the future, chased hard for the RCC.

CLASS 5 - YEARLING DOG   (14 entered, 1 absent)
1st Mrs Roebuck-Jones "LAPWING RAUNCHY RUBEN". Standard pied. What a head this dog has, deep broad skull, short deep stop, clean lipped, dark eye, correct bite. Straight front, tight feet, compact body, powerful backend, clean outline. Moved and handled well. VHC junior in very strong company.

Mr & Mrs O'Donnell's "ROCKSTAFF VAGABOND FOR ODENSTAFF". Red & white pied. Another with a cracking head, short coupled body, feet not as tight as I would have liked, good topline, good bend of stifle. Lost out on condition, a tad soft for me, but did not detract from the overall  quality of the dog.

1st Mr & Mrs Sturmans "MEGABYTE ENSIGN". Top size black brindle, powerful head, a little longer if foreface than some, correct bite, good dark eye. Straight front, short coupled body, adequate stifle. In godhead condition, moved with enthusiasm.

Straight front, tight well padded feet, well laid back shoulder, short coupled body with good tuck up, good bend of stifle. Moved with drive. In good hard condition.

1st Mrs Moss "CARIANJO CORNELIUS". Mahogany brindle. Super head, deep skull, short foreface, clean lipped, dark eye with keen expression, super bite best of the day, neat ears. Another short powerful body, level top line, well placed shoulders, powerful hindquarters. In good fit condition, lovely moving dog, handled well. 
2nd Ms Booth & Mr Grimwood's "RAMBLESTAFF JACKHAMMER" JW. Black brindle. Just lost out. Slightly longer in foreface but another dog with a cracking head. Short powerful neck leading onto well laid shoulders, short ribbed with good depth of brisket. Loved this dogs hindquarters, tremendous width of stifle. Moved well, in good condition.

CLASS 10 - LIMIT DOG   (19 entered, 7 absent)
1st Mr & Mrs Brown's "ROTHERSTAFF KING CREOLE". Black brindle. Although this dog is top size he is very well balanced, rock hard and in superb condition, has to be the best on the day. lovely head with deep stop, correct ear carriage, good bite, dark eye, kind expression. Short coupled body, level top line, powerful hindquarters with good bend of stifle. Moved with power and drive. A credit to his owners.
2nd Mr & Miss Powell's "BOWTMANS STILL STANDING" JW. Brindle/white. Powerful head with deep skull, short foreface without being lippy, dark eye with keen expression, neat ears, correct bite, short coupled body, just not as fit as 1, good bend of stifle, moved and handled well.
3rd Mr & Mrs Smith's "PENNSMITH MASTER BILLY BOY"

CLASS 11 - OPEN DOG   (10 entered, 1 absent)
1st Mr Caetano & Mr Muir's "CH. TORNADOSTORM THE LEGACY". RCC. I have watched this dog for a while hoping I would get the opportunity to judge him and he did not disappoint. Standard black brindle of superb quality. Cracking head, deep throughout, clean lipped, eye slightly lighter than I would have liked, correct bite, powerful neck leading into well laid back shoulders, short coupled body, well sprung ribs with good tuck up, level top line, good bend of stifle, well let down hocks, tight well padded feet. Moved with power and drive, in excellent condition, a credit to his owners.
2nd

Mr & Mrs Needham & Mr & Mrs Barlow's "CH STORMPIKE DARK LORD". Black brindle. Love this dog. Punishing head, deep skull, short broad foreface, correct bite, dark eyes with alert expression, neatest of ears. Shorter body than 1, but just didn't have the tuck up on the day, powerful neck, well laid back shoulders, lovely straight front, good bend of stifle. Moved with the arrogance and drive of a Ch. Just lost out to 1 on condition. The hardest decision of the day.

Overall the standard of bitches was very high, with many places on another day being reversed. Mr & Mrs Fulton's "NEVER FORGOTTEN" Very neat black brindle lovely head for one so young, correct bite, darkest of eye and neat ears, straight front with ample bone, good rib and backend, handled very well, one to look out for in the future.

2nd Mr & Mrs Dallas's "RUMLAUN COOCHEECOO" brindle a bit shorter in height than 1st good skull, balanced foreface, well boned front moved and handled with confidence, very promising.

Mr Perry's "FOXSTAFF RAINDROPS" Black brindle bitch that I liked a lot, strong head, distinct stop with a broad skull, round eye, setting of a great expression, very good outlines to this bitch, nicely balanced, can see her doing well in the future, will watch her progress with interest, B.P.I.S

2nd Ms Gardeners "TAKILLAS CARNIVAL QUEEN" Another strong headed bitch but still feminine, good bone, well ribbed, moved and handled very well.

CLASS 15 - JUNIOR BITCH   (21 entered, 6 absent)
1st Ms Casey & Mr Hewitt's "HALLASTAFF GEISHA GIRL AT TIGERBULL" B/Brindle and White of 13 months what a showgirl her eyes followed me everywhere, great expression, broad skull, good strength of under jaw clean lipped, round eye, strong tapered neck flowing into well placed shoulders, well developed chest for age, good feet and pasterns, needs to develop behind shoulders but still young, level topline, very well angulated hind quarters, moved well, definitely one for the future, R.C.C
2nd Mr & Mrs Hedges "HOLSTAFFS GEM RAMBLIX" B/Brindle of quality, this was a very strong class with a super winner, I’m sure these places could be reversed on another day, I just preferred the overall head of the 1st, compact bitch with correct bite, well developed chest, ample bone, straight front, fit’s the standard well, moved and handled to a very high standard.

2nd Mrs Moss's "MOSSTAFF DORY AT CARIANJO" B/Br not as strong in head as 1st but very typey Straight front, level topline, good bone moved well both ways.

1st Mr & Mrs Bruton "FARRIERS VELVET MAIDEN"  Mahogany brindle of top quality, very strong head but still very feminine, expression to die for, well tapered neck setting into well placed shoulders, straight well developed front, nicely sprung rib, well tucked up at the loins setting off a powerful backend, excels in balance and type, this girl definitely has the X factor, pleased to award her the C.C and R.B.I.S
2nd Mrs Johnson's "TILLCARR RING OF FIRE" Another excellent B/Br bitch a lot of similarity’s to 1st but not quite as strong in head, should have a bright future, came up against a very good bitch today.

1st Mr McKenna & Miss Ward's "JACMAC LOVES LABOUR LOST" Top size b/br strong head but not overdone, round eye, good ear placement giving a pleasing expression, well boned front, level top line, well angulated rear quarters, would have liked her to have been a bit more firmer, having said that very well presented, full of confidence when moving, handled well.
2nd Mr & Mrs Stanway's "WAYSTAFF DUTCH DELIGHT" Standard white/brindle bitch, good head, keen expression, straight front, level top line, short coupled, more compacted than 1st moved and handled well.

1st Miss Ferguson's "CHALLIMERS MOLLY MALONE AT FERGUSTAFF" Another top notch white/brindle bitch, Very pleasing head, distinct stop, strong foreface, good underjaw clean lipped, neat ears, giving that desired expression, stood four square, well bent stifles, moved effortlessly, very well handled, was always in contention.
2nd Mr & Mrs Bruton's "FERRYMANS VELVET DUCHESS" Another bitch out of the top draw, B/Br Taller than 1st,desired head shape, straight clean well boned front, up on the pasterns, good shoulders, level topline with well sprung ribs powerful backend, moved well.
3rd Ms Taylor's "TORNADOSTORM FIRST LADY OF ESKHARN"
