SCSBTS - Open Show Results

Elaine conducted the Show extremely well and her decisions all seemed to be accepted in the type of excellent sporting manner that speaks volumes for all those in attendance at today's show. The Committee would like to extend their special thanks to Elaine for her excellent work throughout the day and to her husband Chris for donating the excellent specials. As this will be the last Society show held at this venue it was good to see that the entry was slightly up on last year's Open Show, and with plenty of spectators in attendance, there was a good atmosphere in the hall right until the very end.

1st	Mr & Mrs S Hopkins "PRIDE OF TIME". 7 1/2 Yr. Red. Solid boy, showing great strength for size, he has a good head still, with correct bite. Powerful front, well boned legs with tight feet. Level topline, moved well as always.

CLASS 2 - MINOR PUPPY DOG (3 entered, 2 absent)
1st	Mr J & Mrs V Browns "ROTHERSTAFF SARACEN". Black/Brindle. Very much a baby but showing correct balance, head in proportion to body, correct bite, and good front. Handled well.

1st	Mr & Mrs T Lawrenson's "CROSSGUNS TOM JONES". Brindle, Lovely head shape with good ears, deep stop and dark round eyes. muzzle of strength with a good underjaw, correct bite. Straight front, level top line with good tail set. Moved and Showed well. B.P.D.

2nd	Ms N Booth & Mr P Grimwood's "RAMBLESTAFF JUST A JEZEBEL". Black/Brindle. Gave this Grand Old lady a B.O.B. when she was a Puppy at her first show. She is now 13 and still enjoying being shown and able to strut her stuff up the mat 'Bless her'.

Cracking head with a wicked expression, dark eyes, good stop with a strong muzzle & good underjaw all set off with correct ear carriage. Nice front with good feet, enough bone for substance yet remain feminine. Stood square with a level topline, short in coupling, good bend of stifle. Moved & handled very well.
